Submitting Feedback & Feature Requests

We’re building the Time Clock App with your input in mind. The built-in Feedback tab allows you to suggest new features, report bugs, or vote on ideas shared by others. This helps us prioritize improvements based on what matters most to you and your team.

How to Submit Feedback

  1. Go to Store > Time Clock Admin Panel

  2. Click the Feedback tab in the top navigation

  3. Fill out the form:

    • Title: A short, clear summary of your suggestion or issue

    • Details: Add any context or examples that help explain your idea

    • Category: Select the type (Feature Request, Bug Report, etc.)

  4. Click Create Post

📝 You can also attach screenshots or documentation using the paperclip icon before submitting.


Browsing and Voting

Below the submission form, you’ll see existing posts sorted by:

  • Trending

  • Most Recent

  • Most Votes

Use the search bar or category filter to explore posts that match your interest or concerns.

🔼 Voting

Click the up arrow next to any post to vote for it. The more votes a post receives, the more likely it is to be prioritized.


Status Tags

Each post may include a status tag:

  • In Review – We’ve added it to our next round of discussion
  • Planned – We’ve added it to the roadmap
  • In Progress – Currently being worked on
  • Complete – Already released in the app

  • Closed – Not moving forward at this time


Why It Matters

Feedback helps us:

  • Fix real-world issues faster

  • Identify the most valuable improvements

  • Build the tools wineries actually need

💡 Several current features like tip pooling, commission by SKU, and PIN clock-in started as user feedback!


FAQs

Q: Can employees submit feedback?
A: Only users with access to the Time Clock Admin Panel can submit or vote on feedback.

Q: Will I get notified if my idea is implemented?
A: Yes! You’ll receive an email when your post is updated with a new status like "Planned" or "Completed."

Q: Can I edit or delete my feedback post?
A: Not at this time. If you need to update or correct something, submit a follow-up comment.
